Phonetics History and Technique

Linguistics refers to the scientific study of human language. Phonetics is its main and important branch. Phonetics started with Sanskrit. Panini is the Sanskrit linguist who first wrote the first formal book on generative grammar. For the classification of sounds, the alphabet is divided into two groups. One group is called consonants and the other is called vowels. For their classification, a chart has been drawn up on the pattern of the IPA's syllable chart. Linguistics is essentially a practical activity.
