Abstract

Since many years of history, Dars e Nizami or Nizami Curriculum has been an important and vital education setup for Muslim World. It has not only contributed to producing literate individuals, but it’s been a hub to train civil servants of society. Muslim has a rich heritage regarding education as seeking knowledge is part of their religion and something having roots in Quran and Sunnah. Its curriculum was specifically designed to meet all the needs of an imperial person and make him the best performer while getting into power. By the time the syllabus has been updated and along with classical knowledge philosophy, logic, scholasticism etc. were also introduced. This curriculum was designed to mentally uplift people rather than just cramming the books. So, the teaching methodologies are special, and the teachers appointed are always top-notch. That is why this system has widened the horizons and research has been done all over the World on this system. This paper also sheds light on rational or logical sciences been taught in Dars e Nizami. And suggests the importance of these sciences and by examining the system and methodology some suggestions for improvement are also added to the paper.
