Abstract

Every religion has its religious tradition and history and also must has a starting point. Ancient India has no history. The people whose civilization remains in India are the Dravidians. There is currently no satisfactory answer to the origin of this nation. At Harappa, Mehrgarh and Rakhigarhi and other places, experts have found many traces of ancient tombs which show that these people used to bury their dead. There are many clues found in MahaBharat which show that the people of the Indus Valley Civilization merged with the Ganga and Jamna Civilization after its decline. The concept of Trimurti is very important in Hinduism's concept of God. According to him there are three real Gods or Devas.  All the other gods, gods and goddesses are subordinate to him. One of them is the Creator, one the Sustainer and one the Destroyer. Like other religions, Hinduism also has the concept of a holy entity or deity who captures the soul and is called "Yam Raj"  the kingdom of death. Yam Raj captures the souls of people in this world and takes them to another place gives death. The general belief of Hindus is that the soul of man is emanated from the essence of God. Therefore, the purpose of human life is that his soul merges back into its original source, the abode of the one and only God, known as Brahma Paramatma. In this research paper we will try to explain the historical background of Hinduism and also discuss the facts about it.
