Abstract

Adherence to tradition has always been a source of debate in literary circles.In Urdu poetry ''Iftikhar Jalib'' and his companions were totally provoked that language essentially has come into existence to project the ideas of man having concrete intimacy with subjective and objective aspects.The article discussed the theoretical and practicle aspects of ''New Poetry''(1960) movement in Urdu literature.New poets are working for reconstruction of language and convert words into things.In this symbolic case the real meanings of words cease to exist.New poets creating new metaphors and symbols to express the emotions.Abstraction and fiction better than reality.New poetry school of thoughts is based on the Meta Ideologies of 'Modernism''post modernism,Constructionism and de constructionism.This article discussed all influences of new poetry  on Urdu literature     specially   ''Urdu   Nazm''.
