Abstract
Lahore stands as a hub of academic and literary endeavors, with numerous institutions contributing to its esteemed reputation. Among these, Majlis-e-Traqi-e-Adab Lahore is a prestigious academic and literary institution in Pakistan, founded with the support and patronage of the Government of Punjab, dedicated to promoting and preserving Urdu literature and culture. It holds significant position, established to translate and publish classical and literary works in English. With dedicated trustees, the institution not only produces research books but also facilitates translations of important books from different languages such as Arabic, Persian Punjabi into Urdu. The books published by this institution, whether they are original works, translations, or compilations are all notable achievements of Majlis-e-Traqi-e-Adab, considering the importance of the subject matter. The aim of this article is to highlight the translations done under the auspices of this institution, making them accessible to the public.
