Abstract

There are so many changing colors of the symbol in the poetry of Parveen Shakir. The color of hijr, the color of wasal and the color of dreams. Just like a movie it has motion, scenes, thriller, romance. Mono is a blocking technique of people and consciousness. The poetry continues to narrate the entire story in flashbacks. Parting is a dark and sad scene. In the background is the voice of a brahmin chasing the past moments. This voice has a wonderful magnetic appeal. And it looks like a picture. A portrait on the wall, a girl like “Khoi Khoi”. The night stares at this image until night falls and then in a moment of imagination places her lips on it, When the eyes open, the image disappears from sight and the eye wanders in the deserts in search of this image. Eventually that eye becomes a desert.
