Abstract
Mukhtar Masood offered his services in senior government positions in Pakistan for almost forty years, while maintaining his connection with literature. He authored six books in which "Awaaz-e-Dost," introduced him as a unique and eloquent prose writer, often compared to literary giants like Maulana Muhammad Hussain Azad and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. His writings draw inspiration from Islam, Aligarh and Pakistan. In c he enriches his prose with valuable Poetic literary devices such as similes, metaphors, proverbs, idioms, symbols, humor, verbal economy, verbal repetition, comparison, impossibility, contradiction, analogy, and rhyme, which add charm and richness to his style. This research article provides a brief introduction of "Awaaz-e-Dost" and covers its features through examples.
