Abstract

Waris  Alavi  is one of the most important critics of our time. He has a good eye on Western fiction and also sees Urdu fiction in the same context.With regard to the critic of fiction, he set theoretical priorities and presented them in practical critic. Waris Alvi  says that most of our writers do not belong to Urdu literature like the West has a strong tradition of fiction and novels and the same standard of fictional criticism. In fiction, the novel is Waris Alvi's favorite genre. He analyzed some of the novels that critics considered to be superior.
