Abstract

Sheen Farrukh is one of the famous and important Urdu Journalists, Novelist Autobiographers and Travelogues. She was born in Gujranwala in 1938. She obtained her master degree in Geography (1959) from University of the Panjab, (Lahore). After completion, she joined Journalism and worked with Akhbar-i-Khawateen, and urdu magazine for the period as a journalist and remaind with it till retirement. She was editor Inter Press Communication University of the Panjab, member Karachi press, Arts council of Pakistan, Women Action Forum. She was the author of many books, like a biographical noval on artist Ali Imran madaar  and an autobiographical book Jeen ka Jurm two Travelogue “Nai dunya purani dunia and Secondly” Awagon. Sheen Farrukh passed away in Karachi on Thursday, 2021. She was 83.
