Abstract

The Persian language is highly significant regarding historiography and historical insight about the literary development in the Sub continent. Persian language contains gross root level references and derivatives of social, political, cultural and literary historiography of the Sub continent. Persian historiography in Sub continent begins from Delhi kingdom which consisted of five dynasties in which Ghulaman, Khilji, Tughlaq, Sadaat and Lodhi dynasties are included. In this article the researcher has highlighted the services of these dynasties which are rendered by the families of Ghulaman, Khilji, Tughlaq, Sadaat and Lodhi for development of Persian language. Further researcher has highlighted the significance of Persian language derivatives for research in Urdu language. Researcher has concluded that present literary criticism is victimized by regarding no access of teachers and students to the Persian derivatives of research which are gross root level of references. Further the researcher has indicated that there is an ignorance regarding Persian language among teachers and students which is not less than a dilemma.
