Abstract

In Literature “style” encompasses the way an author's personality is reflected through meaning, manner, writing techniques, and expression. In Urdu, it is termed as "اسلوب" or "انداز." Each person develops a distinct writing style influenced by their personality, experiences, and emotions. The interconnection of style and language is crucial, with spoken, scientific, and literary languages serving distinct purposes. Artists and writers inherently possess talents in expression and imagination. Style plays a pivotal role in storytelling, setting artists apart. Analyzing an artist's style is essential to recognize their uniqueness and assess literary value in a specific genre. Style goes beyond mere writing form; it involves a blend of essence, form, and meaningful thoughts. This article explores the stylistic examination of Abdullah Hussain's novel "قید" (Qaid), exploring its unique aspects and fundamental elements.
