Abstract

The Holy Qur'an has described many events and issues in the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in different ways, for example: the Prophet's mission (peace be upon him), holding the Qibla, the incident of Mubahlah, battles including the Battle of Badr, the Battle of Uhud, the Battle of the Trench, the Battle of Hunain, the Battle of Tabuk, the Battle of Banunazir, etc., the incident of Ghar-e-Thawr, the incident of Masjid Zarrar, the incident of Afik, the incident of Gharaniq, the domination of Rome, Tabni Zayd bin Haritha, the wives of Mutharat, the Peace of Hudaybiyyah, the pledge of allegiance to Rizwan, the incident of Hatib bin Abi Balta’ah, the incident of Tahrim, The incident of Abdullah bin Umm Maktoum, the incident of Shaq-e-Sadr and the incident of Sahar etc. These events and issues have been discussed by commentators, muhaddithians and biographers and have explained them in their own way according to their ability. In this regard, Maulana Muhammad Ashiq Elahi (died: 2002, Deoband school of thought) and Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi (died: 2016, Barelvi school of thought) have mentioned these events and issues of biography in their respective interpretations.
