Abstract
Pir Muhammad Karam Shah Al-Azhari was born on 1918 in Bhera, District Sargodha. He completed his primary education from Bhera. After that, he had the privilege of studying with the great teachers of that era, including Allama Naeemuddin Muradabadi, Molana. Muhammad Deen, Molana Muhammad Qasim Balakoti, Molana Muhammad Piplan. He studied at Al-Azhar University in Egypt for about 3 years. That is why he are called Al-Azhari.He Wrote many books among them Tafsir Zia-ul-Qur'an and Zia-ul-Nabi got great fame. There are five volumes of Tafsir Ziya al-Qur’an. In Tafsir Zia-ul-Qur'an, he addressed all the requirements of the modern age. Each Surah is preceded by a brief introduction, especially the glory of the Surah, its main purposes, and a summary of its subjects. And if it mentions a political historical event, its background, the translation tries to explain it by drawing lines through paragraphs, syntactical and lexical difficulties are solved by authentic dictionaries. He has presented various discussions regarding various issues, especially beliefs, in such a way that communal prejudice and group-based thoughts do not develop. He rejects philosophers and Khawarij in his Tafseer with arguments. He also mentions other verses of the Qur'an and hadiths in his tafseer. There is also a literary color in Zia ul Quran. He also writes Arabic, Urdu and Persian poems in it.
