Abstract
This is a research-based article regarding maghazi (battles) literature and its initial formation. It is evident from the beginning of this article that rather focusing on the pre-Islamic fighting’s emphasis was on discussion relating to Magazi(battles) in the Madani life of the Prophet (s.a.w). Moreover Sahaba (companion of the Prophet) and Taba’een congregate on the same Magazi (battles) at regular bases. As sample, some examples have been mentioned. Further more proceeding from the literal and contextual meaning of the maghazi, its importance and evolutionary phases has also been pointed out. In the time span of suhaba, Magazi literature often used to be discussed verbally, while in the the Era of Tab’een it started to be narrated writtings. Although it was properly composed in the second half of the second century. Among the early scholars it is pertinent to mention, Urwah bin zubair, Aban bin Osman, Amir bin Shuraheel Alsheba’e Shurahbeel sa’d Al Madni, Muhammad bin Shahab Zuhri, Asim bin Amar Qatada, Musa bin Aqba, Muhammad bin Ishaq, Muhammad bin Amar Alwaqadi, Amr Ibne Hisham. The above mention Sirah scholars and their books were considered as a Primary sourse of the Sirah. Therefore, in this research article a knowlegable discussion has been done. The article ends with the research findings and results.
