Abstract

Sheikh Waliullah Muhib was a young contemporary of Mir o Suda. Insha, Mushafi, Qudratullah Qasim etc. had deep rituals. Waliullah Muhib was the teacher of Prince Suleman Shikoh. He was blessed with the qualities of good nature and justice. Narrators have highly praised the integrity and maturity of his speech. Mushafi, Muhammad Hussain Azad, Molvi Abdul Haq, Hasrat Mohani and other celebrities have paid tribute to his personality and work. Dr. Shagufta Zakria compiled his poetry with great effort and attention and presented it to the world of literature for the first time. With the publication of this deewan, something more important will be added to the history of Urdu literature. Sheikh Waliullah Muhib was a well-known poet of the era of Insha and Mushafi.
