Abstract

The ideas and attitudes that emerged in the Western literary movements of the twentieth century, and which influenced many famous poets and writers. Existentialism is also an important attitude in these movements. Existentialism, like other ideologies and attitudes, is a product of the West. After gaining strength in the West, it flourished in Urdu literature. Writers and poets of every age, from Socrates to the present, have somehow been influenced by this theory. In the West, Kirkigard is the founder of this ideology. It was strengthened by Nietzsche, Hegel and Heidegger, and elevated by Sartre.Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Non Meem Rashid, Meera Ji, Majeed Amjad and Munir Niazi are important poets who accept the effects of existence in Urdu. Munir Niazi's poetry contains elements such as sadness, despair,  Soliloquy, fear, loneliness and death. This background illustrates the existence of Munir Niazi. Munir Niazi has his own unique identity in Urdu literature as an existential poet. His deeds will be remembered in Urdu for a long time.
